As I am sure all of you expecting moms can relate to when it comes to buying maternity clothes it’s a love hate situation. We know we only are going to get a few wears out of them before they head to the bin to wait for the next pregnancy or to be passed down to a friend. I have been really focusing this pregnancy on only buying staples I needed to get buy these 10 months, and pieces that I can wear again in my postpartum journey.

Here are some of my pieces I’ve purchased this time around and some from last time too!

I have tried multiple brands on Amazon of similar styles and returned them all. I was so excited when I got this in and it was high quality. Going to be living in this in my last trimester and into postpartum.

Been seeing so many people wear similar dresses this past year and finally found it! This dress is so versatile and comfy, definitely one that will extend way past pregnancy and postpartum. It is light weight and stretchy, so plenty of room for the bump. Can be dressed up with heels/sandals or down with tennies. I love that it’s a staple style piece that I can wear through multiple season with adding a jacket or sweater.

Being pregnant in the summer and chasing a toddler around, you need to be comfy, cool and practical all the time. I love that this romper is all those things and I feel put together when I wear it around the neighborhood or out running errands.

The best dress for work, events or date night! I bought this when looking for something to wear to business meetings that was flattering, professional, and comfortable enough to fly in. This was a 10/10 in my book! As someone who usually flys in leggings and is all about comfort at the airport this was top tier. Easy outfit to go from day meetings to night dinners. I got so many compliments I decided to wear it on my anniversary dinner too and the hubby loved it too!

Another staple that can be easily dressed up for the office with a jacket or kimono or worn casually around in the summer. Versatile enough to be worn in all seasons, so you will get use out of it no matter when you next pregnancy falls. Also, another great piece that can be worn into postpartum.

Beautiful dress that was perfect for all the spring and summer baby showers, wedding showers, photo shoots and the office. I definitely got my use out of this dress and I love that it is so feminine and flattering.

One of my favorite summer dresses! I bought this during my first pregnancy and wore it so many times then and the second time around. Great color if you have a tan and I was able to wear it last summer not pregnant, and it no one would have guessed it was a maternity dress!

I was never into cover ups or kimonos until pregnancy, and now I am such a fan! This green floral cover up I have paired with dresses, jumpsuits, jeans and a tank and it always elevates the look. Have worn it so many times after pregnancy too with the same looks!

A nice basic top, I have the mauve, but comes in multiple colors that are comfy and flattering, but also can be worn after baby!

Great option for some comfy around the house pants that are not constricting on the belly and can be worn after they are born!

AN ALL TIME FAVORITE PIECE -  Honestly, like I said wasn’t a big kimono girl before pregnancy, but this is one of my favorite pieces I’ve bought while pregnant and have worn it so many times in pregnancy and after. I also wore it in my maternity photos paired with my jeans and a bralette. I get so many questions about where this is from after those pics. Color says beige but in my opinion it’s a light pink and I love that even more. It is on final sale now for a steal of a price. One size fits all, so grab it before its gone!

A great dress, I’ve worn in both pregnancies and postpartum. Loved the color and how light and airy it was for those summer mamas like me!

Great top for the office or for casual out and about. Has a classic “maternity” top feel, but was very flattering, if a little booby.

One piece bathing suit that will get you through pregnancy and very flattering for postpartum. With two summer pregnancies this was a nice piece to have for family functions when I didn’t want my big belly out but wanted to be cool. I also love how the straps can be on or off.

LOVE this bathing suit wrap, I probably wore it more after pregnancy than I did pregnant and it is a staple to my summer wardrobe now.

Another coverup that easily helps elevate an outfit and gives you some more coverage when you aren’t really feeling everything being on display. I wear this one a lot with jeans and a tank top/t-shirt pregnant and post.

A favorite of mine too, I have worn with so many color dresses that helped balance the tight fit with the bump and over jeans and basic top too. Currently sold out, but hoping it comes back for you guys!

Great dress for a spring or summer bump, and easily worn after pregnancy too with the fit. I wore with and without a coverup multiple times over summer.

Another basic fitted dress that was very versatile and easily worn throughout spring and summer while pregnant that could be dressed up or dressed down.

Honestly, my FAVORITE suit to wear pregnant and not pregnant. The color and quality were great and the ties made it easy to adjust with a growing chest and belly.

Great color for summer and into fall! Highlights the tan, and has been super fun to wear on date nights, dressed down for casual running around and even to the office.

Classic go to dress for pregnancy. In my opinion, great for early pregnancy and even postpartum but not for later in pregnancy. The bump makes it a little short as it grows to be comfortable in. But a great staple to have in your closet for any season!

Wore this in the hospital when I had my daughter and it was very comfortable and easy to wear over clothes while nursing and recovery. A nice change up from the scratchy delivery smocks to feel more yourself after becoming a mama.
